Who Are You Really, Brooks?
Brooks varies with his writing, but the most entertaining, in my opinion, is when he writes about today's society. His voice comes across as much younger, and he writes mostly in a formal with a hint of casual tone. He also writes about politics and occasionally writes with another columnist with the last name Collins. He is mostly an emotional writer, but sometimes comes across as angered. Brooks uses self-knowledge, but integrates certain quotes and facts into his articles. I would say that he is an optimist because he comes across as expecting certain problems or issues within society to get better or perhaps change for the better.
